FAQs

Before starting mentoring:

How do I get started with mentoring at Kaizen Summit?

Getting started is simple. First, connect with us through our website and complete a self-assessment form. This helps us understand your goals, challenges, and current situation. One of our team will then personally review your responses and hand-select a mentor best suited to your needs. You will receive a welcome email introducing you to your mentor, and from there, the work begins.

How does the onboarding process work?

After completing your self-assessment form, you will receive a welcome email introducing you to your mentor. Your mentor will then review your information and create an initial plan. From there, your first session will focus on setting clear goals and developing an actionable plan tailored to your needs.

Is the mentoring all done online?

Yes, our mentoring is delivered entirely online through video calls, making it accessible and flexible, no matter where you are.

Can I choose my mentor?

We carefully match you with a mentor based on your needs and goals. All our mentors are military-trained and highly experienced. If you have specific preferences or requirements, let us know during the self-assessment process, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Is there a minimum commitment for mentoring?

We offer a flexible subscription model, so there’s no long-term commitment required. You can subscribe on a monthly basis and continue for as long as you find value in the program.

Is everything I discuss with my mentor confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental part of our mentoring service. Your mentor will not share any details of your sessions with anyone unless legally required to do so.

Is Kaizen Summit mentoring suitable for beginners?

Our mentoring is designed for anyone looking to improve their physical, mental, and professional resilience—whether you're a beginner or an experienced high-performer. Our mentors tailor their approach to your specific needs and level.

During your time with Kaizen Summit:

How often will I meet with my mentor?

You can schedule fortnightly Zoom calls with your mentor, depending on your availability and the level of support you need. We work with you to find the right balance that fits your lifestyle.

What can I expect during a mentoring session?

Each session is tailored to your needs. If you are facing challenges at work or in a home setting, your mentor will assist you in developing a structured approach to overcoming obstacles. If you have a project at work, while we won’t do the project for you, we can help you stay accountable to timelines, manage your workload effectively, and support your team. Sessions may also focus on fitness, mindset, or lifestyle changes depending on your goals.

Will I have access to resources between sessions?

Absolutely! You'll have access to our online resources, including training plans, nutrition guides, and mental resilience exercises. Your mentor may also assign activities or reading materials to support your development between sessions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to join our closed Facebook group for community engagement, and for those looking for the most exclusive support and additional benefits, we offer an Inner Circle WhatsApp group.

Can I change my goals during the mentoring process?

Yes, we understand that goals can evolve. Your mentor will work with you to reassess and adjust your plan as needed to ensure it aligns with your current priorities and circumstances.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule, please give your mentor at least 24 hours' notice, and we’ll arrange an alternative time that works for you.

What if I don't feel like my mentor is the right fit for me?

If you feel your mentor isn’t the right match, let us know. We will review your needs and, where possible, offer an alternative mentor who aligns better with your goals.

What support will I receive outside of our sessions?

You’ll have ongoing support through our online platform, where you can message your mentor, track your progress, and access valuable resources. The mentor Collaboration Hub also enables our mentors to share best practices, ensuring you benefit from the collective knowledge of our entire mentoring team.

Can I upgrade my mentoring experience?

Yes! If you’d like additional support, you can upgrade your experience by joining our Inner Circle WhatsApp group for exclusive benefits and direct access to premium resources.

After completing your mentoring term:

What happens if I decide to take a break from mentoring?

At any point, you can choose to take a break. Before pausing, you'll have a review session with your mentor to assess your progress and discuss an ongoing action plan to support your continued growth.

Can I continue mentoring with Kaizen Summit after a break?

Yes! We offer a flexible subscription service that allows you to resume mentoring when you're ready. You can also book one-off calls with a mentor at any time to ensure you are still on track or to seek guidance on a specific challenge that requires a different perspective. Please note that your previous mentor may not always be available, and we might match you with a new mentor who aligns with your current goals and needs.

Will I still have access to the online resources after taking a break?

While you’re on a break, you won’t have access to mentoring sessions, but you will retain access to the resources that have been shared with you during your mentoring journey.

What if I have questions after taking a break?

We're here to help! You can reach out to our support team at any time with questions or to discuss restarting your mentoring journey.
